We are proud to work with established partners that have a proven track record of success. Each partner has been chosen specifically due to their relationship to the mission of the Nichelle Nichols Foundation and the ability to help us successfully serve and inspire women and BIPOC (Blacks, Indigenous, People of Color) communities.

Together Making Change

Our Partners

By disrupting the gender and racial inequality in the tech industry, Rewriting the Code is changing the face of technology. Rewriting the Code (RTC) has built the largest peer-to-peer network for 17,000+ women for undergraduate, graduate, and early career women in tech.

By offering continuous engagement with tech companies, personal and professional skill development, and mentorship, RTC paves the way for sustainable careers, professional advancement, and equal opportunities for the next generation of tech leaders. We know that when we empower the talent pipeline of university and early career women entering the workforce through community support, and access to training and career opportunities, the odds of changing representation in tech leadership improve exponentially.

Together, we are shattering glass ceilings that have held women back, and fighting the bias to ensure every woman in tech feels seen, heard, and supported. We currently have a network of 17,000+ undergraduate, graduate + early career members. Students are represented by  875+ universities in 110+ countries worldwide!

The Nichelle Nichols Foundation and Rewriting the Code will partner on their Women in Tech Fund administered in partnership with the Last Mile Fund. To learn more about this, please visit: RTC Women in Tech Fund | Rewriting the Code

The Nichelle Nichols Foundation is a proud supporter of the Million Girls Moonshot, a national initiative to inspire 1 million more girls in STEM by 2025.

The Million Girls Moonshot Flight Crew program builds on Nichelle’s legacy by providing a comprehensive leadership development experience for girls in STEM. One exceptional girl in STEM is chosen from each of the 50 states to serve as a Flight Crew ambassador and peer leader, supported by rich learning opportunities and mentorship all along the way.

A trailblazer in her own right, Nichelle was often “the first” to do many things, but programs like the Flight Crew ensure that she won’t be the last. In the words of Nichelle, “There’s more exploration to come.”

For more information on the Moonshot and how you can get involved, please visit milliongirlsmoonshot.org.

Million Girls Moonshot is an initiative of STEM Next Opportunity Fund, a national nonprofit organization.
